During the social protest movements of the 1950s and 1960s "All My Trials" became a popular folk song . It is based on a Bahamian lullaby about a mother on her death bed, comforting her children, "Hush little baby, don't you cry. You know your mama's bound to die," because, as she explains, "All my trials, Lord, Soon be over." The underlying message - this too shall pass; that no matter how bleak the situation seemed, the struggle would "soon be over" - lifted this song to the status of an anthem and was recorded by many of the leading artists of the era. The song is usually classified as a spritual because of its biblical references and religious imagery. Spadecaller's music video presents this classic folk tune with visuals that reference the events of Katrina, Darfur, and Iraq. Tiger Sharks of Tiger Beach, Bahamas - Shot this on a wonderful trip to Tiger Beach aboard the Dolphin Dream with new friends Wolf and Felix Leander, Fiona Ayerst, Jupp Kerckerinck, Jeff Schreiber and Amanda Cotton. What a spectacular time we all had with the Lemons, but for sure we were there to be with the Tiger Sharks. In 2010 I was asked by a Wolfgang and Doc Gruber to compile footage of our shark encounters from that trip to use for conservation. This 5 minute clip, co-written by Dee McHenry is the result. I would like to extend a very special thanks to the entire team at Gates Underwater products, for without their support, my work would not be possible. This footage was shot entirely using a HVX200 inside a Gates housing, with the Phantom Super Wide Angle port and GreenForce 250 lights.

Miami to Bimini - In July of 2010 we left Miami and crossed the Gulf Stream on 4 Sea Doos, arriving at South Bimini in the Bahamas (55 miles). Beauty ensued. All together there were 8 of us that made the trip and it was the adventure of a lifetime. This video is just small summary; With clear-blue water, jet boats, jet skis, good looking ladies, and 4 guys from Tampa Bay that love supercharged watercraft. We stayed on the island of South Bimini, at the Bimini Sands resort. The island put on a great fireworks displays to celebrate their "Independence Day" on July 11th. Sea Doos used: A 2008 RXT 215, an '08 RXP-X 255, and 2 '07 150 Speedster 215hp jet boats. Filmed with Kodak PlaySport in 720P at 60 fps

In addition to recognized soul and R&B stars James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin, the members of The Blues Brothers band are notable for their musical accomplishments as well. Steve Cropper and Donald Dunn are architects of the Stax Records sound and were half of Booker T. & the MG's - it is Cropper's guitar heard at the start of the Sam & Dave song "Soul Man". Horn players Lou Marini, Tom Malone, and Alan Rubin had all played in Blood, Sweat & Tears and the Saturday Night Live band. Drummer Willie Hall had played in The Bar-Kays and backed Isaac Hayes. Matt Murphy is a veteran blues guitarist. Blues performers were featured in the cast as well, with John Lee Hooker backed by harmonica player Big Walter Horton and pianist Pinetop Perkins, playing "Boom Boom" on Maxwell Street. As the band developed at Saturday Night Live, pianist Paul Shaffer was part of the act and was cast in the film. However, due to contractual obligations with SNL, he was unable to participate. So actor-musician Murphy Dunne (whose father, George Dunne, was the Cook County Board President) was hired to take his role.[4] Shaffer later did appear in Blues Brothers 2000 FUNKY NASSAU debuted on the Billboard 100 chart #94, Peaked #15, and stayed on for 14 Weeks They released an album entitled Funky Nassau in 1971 on Alston Records (a subsidiary of Atlantic Records), and the track "Funky Nassau - Part I" became a hit single in the US, peaking at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart ...
